Our environmentally friendly paperboard card supports this market with our Green Gift Cards available in four different formats. They have been thoroughly tested to work and perform the same as plastic gift cards and can feature magnetic stripes, barcodes, QR codes and other forms of variable data. We are also proud to be the only card producer to be Plastic Free Trust Mark certified.
Loyalty
Winning customers can be tough. Keeping them coming back is even tougher! Loyalty cards can play a huge role in customer retention and the good news is that our plastic free cards are perfect for using as loyalty cards. They have been 'swipe' tested to over 400 swipes, are robust and even perform well if exposed to water when laminated with our compostable film.

Smart Cards
They are everywhere, used for payment, ID, access, transit and many other applications. Also known as contactless cards, RFID or proximity, they go by a range of names depending on their use and they are nearly always made of plastic.
Working together with our partners, we can now produce plastic free cards with contactless technology using 100% natural materials. Using our Invercote paperboard and a paper inlay, we can reduce carbon emissions by 95 per cent compared to fossil-based plastic cards. Using our paperboard solution, we combine technical functionality with sustainability, producing cards that can be easily be recycled.
We’re pleased to announce at GCVA Connect a new, exclusive product for our customers that is proven to inhibit the growth of SARS-CoV 2, the virus that causes COVID-19 by up to 99%.
Safe Touch has been thoroughly tested to ISO 21702 and ISO 18184 standards, for both porous and non-porous materials and lasts for the lifetime of the product.
Safe Touch binds itself to the cell wall of the product, thus, preventing the virus from spreading.
The gift card Safe Touch coating is exclusive to us at Green Gift Cards and as with all our products can be recycled effectively.
3D & shaped cards
Raise the standard with our 3D and shaped cards. Through a unique production process, we are able to deboss and emboss the front of the card whilst the reverse is still perfectly flat and able to receive data. This technique can accentuate a particular design feature such as your logo, an image or add a textured effect.
This production capability allows you to expand your creativity when it comes to designing your cards for gift, loyalty and membership and is sure to make your card stand out in the crowd.
Like all our cards, our 3D and shaped cards are made of Invercote from Iggesund that comes with the highest green credentials and are officially certified Plastic Free from A Plastic Planet.
