The Rosebourne elegant gift card design is printed on CR80 gift cards in uncoated high-quality Invercote paperboard from our papermill partners Holmen Iggesund. This versatile card has a 790mic board with a personalised back barcode. Each card printed has a unique barcode individual to the card. The natural, matte feel of the uncoated paperboard has proven to be popular, with people often citing paperboard as a more premium product. They also recognise its eco-credentials.
The style and feel of the uncoated board is a good physical representation of the eco changes brands can make when committing to becoming environmentally conscious. For context, each paperboard card uses 95% less carbon to make compared with a traditional plastic card. Plus, it is 100% recyclable at its end of life and can typically be disposed of and recycled by a household waste collection.
To complement their new cards, Rosebourne chose the #006 Gift Card Carrier (sleeve and insert style). Printed in four colours on 350gsm uncoated paperboard, it is a simple and stylish carrier. When correctly used card packaging can elevate a gift card into a more exciting and luxurious gift.
